Shades of Gray ~ A poem by Ernie ThompsonThey feel secure in their world of black and white, They do what the Good Book says; it is their light. How in hell could this happen? What gave them the right? Are they in jail? Those who preyed on you in the night?
‘Forgive and forget’ is all they’ll sight. Pursue truth and justice; keep up the good fight! Look at their church! The steeple broke off last night! Will they face up to their crimes? Do what is right?
